Art League of Houston - Art League Houston is one of Houston’s longest operating non-profit visual arts organizations and was the first alternative art space in Texas. Founded in 1948 and incorporated as a non-profit organization in 1953, Art League Houston was created to promote the public appreciation of and interest in the visual arts. During the past 57 years, Art League of Houston has provided over 750 exhibitions to the Houston community, showcasing the work of nearly 22,000 artists and over 29,000 students have received instruction at the Art League School. Twenty-one outstanding artists have been awarded the Texas Artist of the Year recognition and twice the award has been given to exceptional patrons. Free art classes are offered year round through the HIV+ and Cancer Related Illnesses Healing Art Group, MS Healing Art Group and Physically Challenged Healing Art Group.

Houston Center for Contemporary Craft - Houston Center for Contemporary Craft is a nonprofit organization founded to advance education about the process, product and history of craft. The Center’s major emphasis is on objects of art made primarily of fiber, metal, glass, clay and wood. The Center provides a much-needed venue for exhibition, retail and studio spaces to support the work of local and national artists and to serve as a resource for artists, educators and the community at large.

Creative Metalsmiths - The online gallery of unique, custom designed jewelry from the collections of D.H. Johnson and Kim Maitland of Creative Metalsmiths. They offer specialized one-of-a-kind designs and have won numerous awards for our metalwork and jewelry designs since. The aim of the gallery is to promote unique metalwork and the artists who create it in a fashion that encourages collectors and a clientele who are interested in production, limited edition and one-of-a -kind pieces. They provide one or two individual or group exhibitions each year to promote unique metalsmithing to the public.

Hanson Galleries - Hanson Galleries, voted a "top 100 Retailer of American Crafts" by NICHE Magazine four years in a row, opened for business in 1977. The original store featured handcrafted furniture and wood accessories. Over time, they added art glass, jewelry and ceramics to become and remain a business handling exclusively American Fine Crafts. They nowhave a store on the Internet, offering their stunning collection to the entire world.
